He served as the Head of Pediatrics Department at the College of Medicine, Head of Pediatrics Department at Mubarak Hospital, Chair of Pediatrics Departments Council, and Dean of the Faculty of Pediatrics at Kuwait Institute for Medical Specialization (KIMS), as well as Dean of Student Affairs at Kuwait University. He is a Consultant in Pediatrics & a faculty member at the College of Medicine, Kuwait University. Since 2020, he has been a member of the Vaccines Committee at the Ministry of Health.
